With so many choices in health care professionals, it is difficult to know where to go for your dentistry needs.
I was fortunate to have gone to good dentist when I was in my teens, but when the dentist retired, it was difficult to know where to turn. Dr. Artemenko was recommended by a dentist my sister worked for on the other side of town. Once I started going, I knew that I had come to the right place.
For many people, going to the dentist is a frightening experience, but this dentist and his staff will change that perception. I have been a patient of Dr. Artemenko for a number of years and appreciate his skill, his way with patients, and his love of dentistry, which shines through in everything that is done in that office, from a hygiene appointment, to a more complicated procedure, to the way the billing is handled.
During a recent hygiene appointment, Dr. Artemenko recommended that I have a crown made for a front tooth that I have had root canal therapy on. Because it was a front tooth, I was reluctant to have the work done, for fear of the resulting appearance. Dr. Artemenko was very candid about potential issues that could arise if I chose to put the procedure off. Because of my association with him over the years, I trusted his judgement and had the work done.
I work in a design profession and am visually oriented, so I was very concerned with the end result, but knew the work needed to be done. Dr. Artemenko and Robin assured me that the result would be perfect and it truly was. He went to great pains to make sure the color match was correct, and the resulting appearance very natural looking. Now I can smile, knowing that the tooth is healthy and looks good as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Artemenko’s for over 15 years now. I’m a nurse, and was recommended to him by a co-worker.

The staff is a total pleasure. You don’t sign in when you arrive, because the girls at the desk know who you are when you walk in. Kathy, Dr. Artemenko’s hygienist, is the best! She is more than thorough when it comes to cleaning your teeth, and also educates you along the way. The office is very computerized, using computerized x-rays that show up on the computer screen seconds after they’re taken.

Dr. Artemenko is very gentle, and goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable when he’s working in your mouth. He doesn’t ‘talk you’ into fillings and dental procedures (my last dentist did that all the time- doing a root canal after root canal on my mom, while he’s telling her where he’s going on vacation or what he’s remodeling in his house!). I feel if he recommends that I need something done in my mouth, it’s truly warranted.

I also love the fact that this office never has me wait for my appointment.

I live about 40 minutes from Dr. Artemenko’s office- but the way they treat me and how knowledgeable the staff is makes it worth the drive for me!
