Our Team
Our Team
Our mission is to provide comfortable dentistry in a safe, clean patient oriented environment through personalization, planning and partnership. Our dedication to excellence is reflected in the utilization of state of the art technology and innovative techniques. We firmly believe that it takes a mutual commitment between our patients and our team to realize the ultimate goal – preservation of natural teeth for a lifetime.
Personalization
The unique experience our team offers is probably different from anything you have been accustomed to in the past. We customize your oral health goals to your wants and needs. This process is based on getting to know you, your past medical and dental history, your lifestyle and the direction in which you are headed. We encourage our patients to take an active role in their treatment by asking questions, being informed, listening and participating. Our goal is to put you on a life long journey to positive dental encounters and oral health success.
Planning
There are many variables in charting a course towards optimum health and comfort. We will take the time to examine, diagnose and plan treatment. Individual planning is done comprehensively, working with you as an active partner. We will not treat any disease or condition until the cause has been determined, addressed, and brought under control. This creates a healthy foundation to begin a restorative plan to maintain healthy teeth and gums. It also opens the door to a variety of choices for a cosmetic and aesthetically pleasing smile.
Partnership
Personalization and planning cannot be achieved without a true partnership between our team and you. Being clear about our mutual responsibilities can help avoid disappointment, frustration, pain and discomfort. We are dedicated to providing dentistry for people that are serious about their health in a comfortable and educated atmosphere. We will always encourage timely action. The longer treatment is postponed, the more complex, expensive, uncomfortable and uncertain it becomes. Ultimately you will always be in control of what does or does not happen for you.
Likewise, you will continually be informed of treatment, expense, acceptable financial agreements and appointments. We have found these elements are essential to a satisfying and rewarding partnership. If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to discuss them with us promptly.

Meet Carolyn
– Patient Coordinator
I have been working in the dental field for over 30 years. In that time, I have witnessed dental technology continually improve and along with it, patient care as well.
I have known and worked with Dr. Artemenko for almost three decades, which makes me an “oldie but a goodie”. I enjoy interacting with our patients on a friendly and compassionate manner, which begins when they first walk through our door until the completion of their dental procedures. Away from the office, I love spending time with my hubby, daughters and energetic yellow lab, Lily. Travel, boating and walking (no matter the weather) are also my passions.

Meet Stephanie – Business Coordinator
I have worked for Dr. A since 1997 handling all aspects of the business office. Prior to that, I was a branch manger for a local bank. I have an Associate’s Degree from Macomb Community College and occasionally still take classes related to computers and business as well as the continuing education classes and webinars I attend regularly relating to the dental practice. I also assist patients with their financial concerns. For those patients that have insurance, I work closely with you and your insurance carrier to help maximize the benefits available to you. Patients without insurance or that have extensive, expensive or cosmetic treatment I can offer outside financing options to help you achieve the smile and oral health you desire.
Outside of the office I have three loves, my husband of 17 years, my dog, and boating on Lake St. Clair and the Great Lakes of this wonderful state. I also enjoy playing golf, especially when we can throw the clubs on the boat and take pleasure in a great boat ride and a good or at least interesting round of golf.

Meet Kathy – RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Kathy loves being a dental hygienist!! After graduating from the University of Michigan, she spent many years working with children in an orthodontic practice before finding her “dream job” with Dr. Artemenko. It is important to Kathy that her patients are relaxed and comfortable in her chair and she will go the extra mile to guide them to great smiles. Her patients quickly understand how important good oral health is to their overall general health and sense of well-being. When it comes to leisure time, Kathy loves the outdoors and nothing pleases her more than exploring the ‘ Great American West’ on her motorcycle.
Inspire with your smile!

Meet Michelle – RDH (Register Dental Hygienist)
I’m Michelle, one of Dr. Artemenko’s Dental Hygienist. I was born in the Detroit area and moved to a rural community during high school. I graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Oakland Community College in 1992. It’s been eighteen years now of loving my profession and my patients.
Outside of the office I am the proud mother of two wonderful adult children and four beautiful grandsons. During my time off, I love to travel.
I attended Warren Mott High School and graduated in 2004. During my senior year I attended a program called Career Prep Center (CPC) where I had taken a dental assisting course. I really enjoyed the program, especially the hands-on aspect of it. I started working with Dr. Artemenko and team in September of 2005. I had no prior training, so I had to start from scratch. After a while I found myself learning more than I expected. I like what I do very much. Along with my Mom and Dad I have two younger sisters, an older brother, a yellow lab named Bandit, and a python snake named Gus.
